Jeremy Ronson

Jeremy has been playing since he was a kid. With roots in jazz and rhythm & blues, he has played drums professionally with The Black Shack Jazz Quartet, Champagne Kitty, McManus, and The X-Tracks, as well as occupying the principle timpani/percussion chair in the Thunder Bay Symphony from 1976 to 1983. Other performing experiences include The Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, Hamilton Philharmonic, National Ballet Orchestra, etc. Contemporary musical experiences include performing with Steve Reich for the composer's Canadian premiere of "Drumming", as well as the recording and debut performance of R. Murray Schafer's "RA".

Jeremy prefers playing North American made drums with a variety of cymbals from around the globe.
